东京热 Builders was awarded the contract to renovate the Chemistry Lab at Sequoia High School in Redwood City. The scope started with the complete demo of the space down to the structure. New HVAC units were installed including a new pump fan for fume hood that as installed. Other work included a new acoustical ceiling and all new lighting fixtures and fans. All new casework was installed with a teaching wall, built in storage and work stations with sinks, gas and power at each location.
Challenges here included a tight schedule and coordination between trades due to work having to be completed over the summer break while the classroom wasn鈥檛 being utilized. This lab has all of the new technology with the teaching station, including two projectors and 55鈥� flat screen TV鈥檚 for easy viewing of students throughout the classroom.
